This was reported by the Simferopol website “15 minutes”.
“After I parked my car, several people approached me and, introducing themselves as “self-defense,” demanded to see documents,” Egiz told reporters. He refused to comply with the demands of unknown persons and offered to call the police, to whom he was ready to show his passport.
The unknown people, who, according to Egiz, were later joined by about 20 more people in military uniform, insisted on their own. They demanded to open the car for inspection, which was also refused.
After that, they handcuffed the members of the Majlis and tried to escort him to a certain headquarters.
Egiz resisted, as a result of which he was hit several times. Several young Crimean Tatars who stood up for Egiz were also allegedly hit.
In the end, the Majlis member presented his passport. Seeing his Crimean registration, the people in camouflage let him go.
Abduraman Egiz found it difficult to answer the question of whether he intended to contact the police about this matter. According to him, he intends to discuss his further actions with the head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov.
A member of the Majlis claims he was beaten in the center of Simferopol.
