Four companies have submitted applications for the construction of the Russia-Crimea energy bridge
Simferopol, October 26 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – OJSC Globalelectroservice, OJSC Stroytransgaz, OJSC VO Technopromexport and OJSC Gidroelektromontazh are bidding for the construction of a 220 kV underwater cable crossing across the Kerch Strait with an initial cost of 13,838 billion rubles for OJSC FGC UES, according to the relevant procurement materials, Interfax reports.

Globalelectroservice proposes to build the line by October 31, 2016 for approximately 13,25 billion rubles. Stroytransgaz’s bids offer two prices – approximately 13,826 billion rubles. and 13,838 billion rubles. The main proposal of VO Technopromexport proposes a price of 13,816 billion rubles, in the alternative – 13,836 billion rubles. Gidroelektromontazh proposes the cost of work at 13,836 billion rubles.
At the same time, only Globalelektroservis and Gidroelektromontazh (October 31) indicated the exact deadlines for the completion of services; the remaining companies plan to complete the work also in October 2016, but without specifying a date.
JSC FGC UES is looking for a contractor to build an underwater cable crossing necessary for power supply to the Crimean Federal District. In fact, we are talking about the construction of an electric grid energy bridge between mainland Russia and the Crimea peninsula. The initial cost of the contract is 13,838 billion rubles.
