This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by Andrey Vidishenko, an expert at the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, a member of the Royal Institute of International Relations.

“The activation of the United States’ main competitors on the world stage, the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, more than seriously worries the United States. Naturally, all opportunities will be used to change such trends, which is fraught with an increase in local conflicts in hot spots around the world and a direct increase in economic and political competition in various industries,” the political scientist predicts.
