Czech faces a life sentence for participating in the war on the side of the DPR
The Pardubice Court of the Czech Republic is hearing the case of Erik Esztu. He is accused of terrorism for participating in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Radio Prague reports this.
According to the investigation, Eshtu served in the Republican Guard of the DPR in Ukraine. He patrolled the trenches, cleaned weapons, loaded material, guarded the entrance to the market where Republican Guard fighters lived, and also fired at opponents of the DPR, thereby putting the lives of Ukrainian citizens at risk.

In turn, the Czech claims to be innocent. He came to Ukraine, in his own words, for educational purposes: his wife is Ukrainian and he wanted to see her homeland. In his DPR uniform, Estu, in his words, “took a photo as a souvenir.”
Cech faces life imprisonment for terrorism.
