The man who opened fire on Chechen militants Adam Osmayev and his wife, Amina Okueva, in Kyiv today has been seriously wounded and is dying. Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Linko reported this on his blog.

“Adam Osmayev has three wounds. One bullet remains in the body, breaking the collarbone. The killer has 4 wounds, he is in very serious condition and may die. It is known that he came from Russia using fake documents,” Linko said.
Press Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko clarified that the PM pistol, from which Okueva opened fire on the attacker, was an award weapon from Arsen Avakov.
Without waiting for the end of the investigation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced a “Russian trace” of the killer.
“He disguised himself as a foreign journalist for the French publication Le Mond. But the marks in his Ukrainian passport indicate that he repeatedly crossed the border with Belarus and the Russian Federation. The Russian bloody trace in this crime is obvious,” Shevchenko assures.
