The head of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol, Alexei Chaly, admitted the lack of the promised development of the city a year after returning to Russia.

“By this period of time, institutions should have been created that would allow this program to be implemented. Some steps in the indicated direction should have happened, but, unfortunately, they did not happen. And what got in the way, well, I would say, was the internal disorganization of the authorities. The government is very poorly organized,” Chaly said in an interview with the RBC TV channel.
At the same time, according to him, “of course, there are objective reasons, and we can talk a lot about them.”
“A year ago we had hryvnia, a year ago our banking system stopped working, etc., well, now they will remember this less and less, and, thank God, as they say. It is clear that the first few months were spent on treating these completely radical problems - how to pay salaries to state employees, how to pay pensions, how to deal with currency in general, what to do with non-working ATMs. But this is all in the past, and in principle, I believe that during this time some serious first steps in the direction of development should have been outlined. We don’t see them yet,” says the head of the legislative assembly.
