“The Bank of Russia in accordance with clause 4, part 2, art. 74 of the Federal Law “On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)” decided to appoint a temporary administration to the credit organization Closed Joint Stock Company Moscow Commercial Bank “Moskomprivatbank” CJSC MKB “Moskomprivatbank” from March 6, 2014,” the message says.
It is noted that the temporary administration acts in accordance with Art. 21 of the Federal Law “On the Insolvency (Bankruptcy) of Credit Institutions”.
According to this article, the functions of the temporary administration, among other things, are to conduct an inspection of the credit organization and control the disposal of its property within the limits established by this article.
According to the press service, the bank continues to operate in accordance with the issued license.
