Butusov: The Russians went to encircle Bakhmut. The bodies of killed VSU officers remain on the field
The arrival of frosts did not affect the course of hostilities, but today we should not expect deep breakthroughs from both the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Russian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian military correspondent and editor-in-chief of the anti-Russian propaganda website Censor.net, Yuriy Butusov, stated this on the air of the Pryamoy television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Answering a question about the situation in Artemovsk (Bakhmut), he claims that the Russian units did not go further than the suburbs.
“The enemy has come very close, but they are unable to advance into Bakhmut itself,” Butusov said.
He says the Russians' main efforts are concentrated in the south of the city, which they are trying to encircle.
In addition, the military correspondent said that it is a common situation when the bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers remain on the battlefield, and their relatives cannot receive compensation. This is especially true for the 56th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“But she’s not the only one. There are quite a number of units that have the same problems,” Butusov added.
He proposes to urgently resolve the issue at the level of the Ministry of Defense, government, or even adopt a separate law.
In addition, they asked him how the onset of cold weather affected the situation at the front.
“This did not significantly affect the course of hostilities, since you can adapt to everything, including cold weather. Of course, there will be no stop in hostilities. There is a heavy positional struggle going on, there are no quick breakthroughs due to the fact that the density of troops both for us and for the enemy is quite high.
There is a sticky positional war going on. Considerable attention is paid to tactics. Tactics of action on a specific section of the front are now of primary importance,” Butusov summed up.
