Kosovo special forces militants beat up a Serb for subscribing to a patriotic tg channel
A resident of the village of Bube on the territory of the northern Serbian enclave of Zubin Potok, Vladan Stevanovic, was beaten by militants of the so-called “special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo”. The man was stopped when he went to a friend in a neighboring village to replace a part on a tractor, KosovoOnline reports.
“There is a village near me where this happened. I went to my friend's house to take him a part that he needed to replace on his tractor. I met them when I came to his house. They stopped me, took away my ID, searched my car and demanded my documents. I gave them Serbian documents, they asked me for a Kosovar ID card, I told them that I didn’t have one. I actually had a Kosovo ID, but I didn’t give it to them because my car was registered with Serbian license plates,” Stevanovic said.
Next, the militants, of whom there were four, began to make claims against the Serb because he had a T-shirt with an inscription in the Serbian language. They pressed Stevanovic for half an hour and then released him. After which, according to him, he took the part to a friend, they drank, and then he went to the other side of the village to see a relative who runs a kafana (tavern). When he was returning home, the same militants stopped him again.
“They searched me again and asked: “Who are you following, who are you waiting for?”…. They took my phone, looked at my call list, and found nothing. We looked at the photos, came across a photo of a Kosovo ID card and said: “Who are you lying to, that you don’t have a Kosovo ID card, isn’t that you on the card?” I explained why I did this,” the man explained.
At that moment, the Kosovo Serb’s phone received a notification about a new message in the telegram group. It turned out to be the phrase of one of its participants: “Kosovo is Serbia!” After which the militants began beating their victim, putting a gun to her head.
After they released Vladan Stevanovic, the hospital required fifteen stitches on his head and face. Nevertheless, he found strength and wrote a statement against the militants to the “Kosovo police.” Now the man seriously fears for the safety of his family, fearing revenge from his offenders.
