Without trial or investigation - another idiotic ban in Ukraine
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine exceeded its powers by prohibiting the Communist Party from participating in the elections.

This opinion was expressed by the head of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, in a comment to the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.
“The minister exceeded his powers, since only the court is authorized to make such decisions,” says the Ukrainian expert. – Here the Verkhovna Rada actually performed this function. Being an opponent of communist ideology rather than its supporter, I still believe that if we are building a rule of law state, we should not deviate from the law. Now, most likely, one part of the Communist Party electorate will not come to the elections, the other will vote for the “Opposition Bloc.”
However, the political scientist suggests that the ban could benefit the communists.
“In recent years, communists have not played a significant role in the life of Ukraine,” the expert notes. “They shot up too often and lost most of their voter support.” But the ban on communist ideology can stimulate them to new attempts at self-organization. They can create new associations and give themselves a new name. It is even possible that sufficiently educated young people will come to them. There are enough examples in the world of how, after the ban of a particular ideology, interest in it increased many times over. I think that communism in Ukraine can expect an unexpected renaissance. In fact, what was supposed to die on its own in the near future can now get a second wind.”
