Donetsk, September 05 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Yesterday in Donetsk, late in the evening, the Gladkovka microdistrict was subjected to heavy artillery shelling. Shells fired from GRAD launchers destroyed several apartments in multi-storey buildings with direct hits.

Exploding shells turned the concrete floor slabs into small crumbs.
One of the consequences of the shelling was that on the eve of the autumn cold snap, people were left without windows in their homes. In the eight houses closest to the epicenter of the explosions, there was practically not a single window left.
Among the local residents there are numerous wounded of varying degrees of severity, and, unfortunately, there were casualties: three people are known to have died, having received severe shrapnel wounds. All of them at that moment were in the courtyard of their houses.
Between five and seven shells exploded on the territory of a cooperative garage located near a residential area. Approximately a third of all structures were completely or partially destroyed, and several dozen cars were completely destroyed. Of course, losing a car or garage is a colossal nuisance; many have been saving for them for years. But a car can still be purchased again, unlike a human life, which cannot be returned.
