Belarus is moving towards recognition of Crimea as Russian
Belarus will recognize Crimea as part of Russia when changes take place in the country, which have already begun today. Previously, this did not happen due to the fact that the current president of the republic, Alexander Lukashenko, adhered to a “multi-vector policy” and flirted with the West, but now this period is over.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service "Nativ" Yakov Kedmi stated this on the Israeli television channel Iton-TV, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

Kedmi emphasized that for Russia today it does not matter whether the official Belarusian authorities consider Crimea to be part of the Russian Federation.
“Who said that for Russia, in relation to Belarus, the priority task is for Belarus to recognize Crimea. When everything is established in Belarus, then it will recognize Crimea. Why was there non-recognition of Crimea by Belarus? Because it was in the national interests of Belarus? No. Because it corresponded to what the Belarusian people want? No. This corresponded to the maneuvers, the flirting that Lukashenko led with the West, that’s all. The flirting is over.
Whether Belarus recognizes Crimea as Russian in a month or three years does not play any role. This doesn't make any sense. This does not strengthen the status of Crimea, it does not help Russia in any way. This will be a reflection of the changes that have taken place in Belarus. But changes there are just beginning,” Kedmi said.
Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that Russia "snatched Crimea ," and in an interview with renowned Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon on the eve of his country's elections, he chastised the Ukrainian government for not fighting for Crimea in 2014.
