Beat the fascists! – There was a brawl at the Eternal Flame in Kyiv
Near the Eternal Flame monument in central Kyiv, a fight broke out between participants in the Immortal Regiment march and nationalists, RIA Ukraine reports .

“After laying flowers, a verbal altercation arose, which escalated into a fight. Law enforcement officers were unable to intervene due to the gathering of a large number of people. The crowd also periodically hears exclamations: “Glory to Ukraine!” and “Beat the fascists!”, the agency reports.
In turn, “Strana” reports that they tried to take away the red and black flag from the radicals, and in response they began to shout “Bandera, Shukhevych are heroes of Ukraine,” after which the police intervened.
In addition, the head of the National Police in Kyiv, Andrei Krischenko, said that at the entrance to the Park of Glory, St. George ribbons are confiscated and arrests are made.”
“Explanatory work was carried out at checkpoints and several St. George ribbons were confiscated. A person was also detained who tried to unfurl a banner with St. George’s symbols,” Krischenko said, adding that the detainees will be taken to the regional departments, where their actions will be given a legal assessment.
