Fugitive liberal: There is no unity in the West on the defeat of Russia
Western countries have no definition of what a Ukrainian victory over Russia might look like. If the Baltic countries and Great Britain want the defeat of the Russian Federation both at the military and political level, then France and Germany do not see such a possibility.
Fugitive Russian opposition figure and liberal Garry Kasparov stated this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The only thing that can be said with confidence is that, of course, no one will return on February 23rd. The price paid by Ukraine makes such a return impossible. This thought may be flashing in some heads, but it is already politically doomed, it cannot become real politics. But, unfortunately, there is no clear definition of the very Ukrainian victory we are talking about. It’s wrong to talk about the world here – the world is very big and contradictory,” the liberal said.
He emphasized that in the West there are different ideas about what and how to do.
“Yes, Ukraine needs to be helped, Putin’s victory cannot be allowed, but when it comes to the complete liberation of the territory of Ukraine and the actual defeat of Putin’s army, the military and geopolitical defeat of Putin’s Russia, there comes a hitch. Yes, there are countries that consider this necessary. These are, first of all, the Baltic countries, this is Poland, this is Great Britain. And then such a gray zone begins in Europe. These are, of course, Germany and France,” said Kasparov.
