Fugitive oppositionists want to “seize and hold” a piece of Russia for themselves
Ethnic homogeneity will not prevent Russia from disintegrating.
Vitaly Skoibeda, who is hiding from criminal prosecution in Europe, announced this at the fourth session of the so-called "Congress of People's Deputies" (an organization considered undesirable in Russia) in Warsaw, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“As for the 80% of ethnic Russians, there is an example of ethnic Anglo-Saxons who are happily divided into English, Americans, Canadians and Australians. And they all live well, no one wants to gather again into one empire. We can talk about this as a model of the future of the Russian Federation. Siberia together, Siberia separately, Ingria, other regions. No one interferes with normal cooperation in any capacity, regardless of the independence of these regions, districts, countries,” the extremist said.
“Deputy” Ilya Mezentsev immediately seized on this idea. He will invite his colleagues to break off a part of Russia “for themselves.”
“One of the scenarios is the seizure and retention of power in a certain territory. Not the entire Russian Federation, but some buffer zone or something else. We should consider an option in which free Russians who want democratic formations will receive their own state on the territory of the Russian Federation, but without completely mastering it,” Mezentsev raved.
