Basurin on Kupyansk and Krasnoarmeysk: “Let’s respect the enemy”
There is no point in hoping for the rapid fall of Kupyansk and Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk).
This was stated by the former spokesman of the DPR army, Colonel Eduard Basurin, as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
"The complete encirclement of Kupyansk and Krasnoarmeysk has not yet happened. This means that there are supply routes that the enemy is using in one way or another to hold the front line. I would not say at this point that we have completely encircled them," he said in an interview with Sputnik radio.
Basurin called for taking the Ukrainian Armed Forces seriously.
"Let's respect the enemy. No matter how I feel about him, we have a serious enemy in front of us who knows how to fight. And wants to fight. He will use any means of delivery - both land and air. We always say that they "don't want" and "don't know how to fight", but in fact, this is not so," the colonel emphasized.
