Kolomoisky's airline sold more tickets for a flight from Dubai than the plane can accommodate

Ukraine International Airlines, owned by the Privat group of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, caused a scandal by selling more tickets for a flight from Dubai to Kyiv than the plane could accommodate.

Kiev resident Alexander Surovy reported the incident on his social network page.

“Flight from Dubai. We sold more tickets for the flight and brought in a plane with less capacity. They all didn't fit in. They offer a flight every other day, with different connections, where you have to wait for 20 hours via St. Petersburg, Istanbul, Moscow, etc.,” he wrote.

Let us recall that Kolomoisky’s companies have been repeatedly accused of monopolizing the air transportation market in Ukraine and ousting foreign competitors with the help of administrative resources.
