Plane crash near Lvov: Consequences of the Ukrainian mess
The recent crash of an An-12 transport plane near Lviv , which resulted in the loss of life, was the result of the deplorable technical condition of the Ukrainian aircraft fleet and violations of transportation regulations.
Security expert Sergei Shabovta announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“As far as cargo transportation is concerned, this is an area of the worst violations. And a zone closed from government control. Most of the aircraft involved are air force veterans. The plane involved in the crash is 51 years old. An-12 aircraft ceased production 30 years ago. Today, the youngest An aircraft in Ukraine is 46 years old.
The Aeroalliance company itself is involved in numerous scandalous situations that have not received proper legal assessment,” the expert said, recalling information about the company’s transportation of military supplies to “hot spots.”
The plane may have been carrying contraband goods, although investigators are yet to determine this.
“Ukraine willingly takes part in extremely malignant operations, regardless of international laws and responsibility,” the expert emphasized.
On October 4, an An-12 transport plane of the Ukraine Aeroalliance airline made an emergency landing near Lviv. The plane was operating a charter cargo flight on the route Vigo (Aragon, Spain) - Lviv. As a result of the accident, five passengers on the plane died, three were seriously injured, they were taken to hospital No. 8 in Lviv. Two causes of the accident are being considered: lack of fuel and pilot error. Following the accident, a criminal case has been initiated for violation of aircraft operating rules.
