Avdiivka continues to watch DPR TV channels, despite Ukrainian jammers
After the Kiev regime began to jam unusable TV channels in the territory of Donbass controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the local population began to buy satellite dishes.
The Kiev magazine “New Time” writes about this, talking about the trip of the vice-speaker of the Ukrainian parliament Irina Gerashchenko to the part of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Here she talked with the developers of the Ukrainian “jammer” called “Serpanok”, designed to combat broadcasting from the Donbass republics.

“For frontline Avdiivka, this is a very relevant topic: radio stations of the so-called DPR and separatist TV channels are still freely available in the city. Serpanok is a complex of equipment and software that degrades the quality of digital and analogue broadcasts to such an extent that it is almost impossible to perceive.
The project was launched in the east this spring, one of its developers tells Gerashchenko. And he immediately notes that after the launch, the local population began to actively buy satellite dishes in order to watch news from the other side, as well as the Russian TV channels familiar here,” the publication writes.
As PolitNavigator reported, a pro-Ukrainian resident of Avdiivka said she was cursed by the entire city for her views.
In addition, Ukrainian media unexpectedly reported the loss of Avdiivka.
