Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov is involved in the bloody showdown in Mukachevo, Transcarpathian oligarch Viktor Baloha said at a press conference in Kyiv.

Baloga denied earlier information that Right Sector left his house for a meeting at People’s Deputy Lanyo’s sports club, where the shootout took place.
“Right Sector” left its base in Uzhgorod,” the oligarch said. “And it’s a shame that representatives of the Right Sector were able to travel 45 kilometers from Uzhgorod to Mukachevo, and no one stopped or blocked them. Moreover, the police knew about it, but they were allowed to get there. I called and asked to organize these meetings in other places, because on Saturday there are a lot of people relaxing in the park. Nobody listened – neither the police, nor the Right Sector, nor Mr. Lanyo.”
According to Baloga, this plan was orchestrated by the Kyiv security forces.
“In this regard, I want to tell you: if a person is removed after carrying out a special operation in quotes and sent for promotion to Kiev, then I can already say that a representative of one political force, that is, Avakov, was already involved in this event,” believes Baloga . “He could have stopped it, and without him this special operation could not have been done.”
Earlier, Arsen Avakov, introducing the new head of the Transcarpathian Ministry of Internal Affairs, said that his predecessor, Sergei Sharanich, who was fired after the Mukachevo shootout, was transferred to the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the position of deputy head of the criminal police.”
