Donetsk - Simferopol, February 03 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - The battles near Debaltsevo take place, to a greater extent, with the use of artillery, and not through rifle duels. The head of the Crimean public organization “Slavic Union and Revival” Andrei Rodionov, who visited the scene of the events, told PolitNavigator about this.

According to him, the Ukrainian army and mercenaries are inferior to the militias in professionalism and training.
“There is limited fighting among shooters there. The main emphasis is on artillery duels. Grads, cannons, and mortars are firing. Moreover, everything that is large and heavy shoots towards the enemy. Compared to the fire waged by the militias, the response from Ukraine is minimal. Maybe they don’t want to give up their positions because they are well entrenched.
The second point is that they have very few experienced specialists. They take mobilization boys who don’t want to fight and don’t know how. But you need to understand that Ukrainians do not fight with slingshots, they have the same weapons as the militias. They also hit accurately and well, although the combat level is inferior,” Rodionov noted.
