On the night of November 17, NTV premiered the 10-part documentary " England – Russia. Treachery Without Love ," which explores Russian-British relations from the time of Ivan the Terrible to the present day.

NTV's website posted explanatory information stating that the series uses documents from the Russian Foreign Ministry archive, some of which contain information previously classified for public release, and that the project was produced with the support of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media. The producers also used materials from British sources , rare newsreel footage, and commentary from authoritative diplomats and historians, including those from the British side.

Currently, the first four parts of the documentary investigation have been released. The episodes are not released in chronological order, but this is even more interesting, since this method of presenting material breaks up the monotony of the narrative, and the viewer, who did not skip history classes too often in high school, is able to put the order of events into place without outside help.

The first episode, "A Very English Provocation," tells of the subversive activities carried out by Great Britain against Soviet Russia , weakened by two wars, famine and disease.

As a clear example, the authors cite the " Locard affair " - an attempt by British intelligence to organize a counter-revolutionary coup in Soviet Russia in 1918.

Another story is devoted to the so-called " Zinoviev letter " - a forgery fabricated by British intelligence, in which the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Comintern allegedly calls on British communists to overthrow the current government.

In connection with recent events, the story telling about the attempt of British naval saboteurs to mine the cruiser Ordzhonikidze, on which Khrushchev made a visit to London as part of a large delegation, is of particular interest.

From Commodore Crabb's failed sabotage, which cost him his life, the second story smoothly moves on to the recent attack by controlled kamikaze sea drones on Black Sea Fleet ships in Sevastopol.

The film clearly explains, with references to documents, that both events, separated in time, were a carefully planned provocation by the British intelligence services , pursuing specific goals.

The second series, 'Hitler's British Roots', provides a historical analysis of Hitler's rise to power in Germany and how this event was received with approval and understanding by the British authorities.

From this starting point, plans are considered to “appease” Hitler by the Chamberlain government, the Munich Agreement, as well as the still not fully resolved case of the mysterious flight of Reich Minister Hess to Great Britain a month and a half before the attack of Nazi Germany on the USSR, and the no less mysterious murder of his English guards on the eve of release from Spandau prison.

This chain of events allows us to draw the unequivocal conclusion that Great Britain made titanic efforts to incite Hitler against the USSR. It is no coincidence that Great Britain coined the famous phrase: " If Hitler had not existed, he would have been worth creating ."

The third episode of the documentary was released under the title "Wet Diplomacy . " The desire to influence events in Russia was so great that Britain stopped at nothing, even assassinating Russian rulers. Thus, with the direct participation of a British intelligence agent and the money of an Englishwoman, a conspiracy was organized and subsequently assassinated against Russian Emperor Paul I to prevent his alliance with Napoleon.

Just recently, the British authorities declassified another disturbing secret : it turns out that the shot that killed Grigory Rasputin was fired by a British intelligence officer, since the "elder" lobbied for pro-German interests at court and openly opposed Russia's entry into the war on the side of the Entente.

The new investigation, "Crimea and the Crown," examines the events surrounding Britain's attempt to gain control of Crimea—from the First Russo-Turkish War to the construction of a British naval base near Odessa and the dangerous provocation of the destroyer HMS Defender, which entered Russian territorial waters off Cape Fiolent in Crimea.

As we know, history repeats itself. During the "zero world war," or Crimean War of 1853-1856, the then head of the British Foreign Office, Lord Palmerston, intended to wrest more than just Crimea and the Caucasus from Russia. In his ambitious plans, he divided the Russian Empire into pieces, like a pie. Georgia and Crimea were to go to Turkey, Finland, lost in 1809, was to return to Sweden, Prussia was to gain clout by absorbing the Baltics, and Austria was to gain Moldova, Wallachia, and the mouth of the Danube. As icing on the cake, Palmerston also wanted to restore the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, making it a buffer zone between Russia and the German lands.

The Russian press wrote then:

Here in warlike excitement
Governor Palmerston
It affects Russia on the map
Forefinger.

If the plans of the British lord had come true, Russia would have lost access to the Baltic and Black Seas, for which soldiers of the Russian army had fought for centuries. The Anglo-Saxons are striving for the same thing today. Therefore, Odessa is of key importance in their plans.

The documentary series is highly recommended viewing. We are waiting for new episodes.
