American and British investors bought new 15-year Ukrainian Eurobonds
The main buyers of Ukraine's new 15-year Eurobonds worth $3 billion were investors from the USA (46%) and the UK (36%).

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Finance Yuriy Butsa, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.
“The final allocation took place among about 300 investors, of which 78% were asset managers, 15% were hedge funds. 46% of the allocation is from investors from the USA, 36% from the UK, 16% from continental Europe,” he wrote on Facebook.
The deputy minister added that he was amazed by the interest in Ukraine. “The book peaked at $9,5 billion from about 350 investors,” he said.
Let us recall that on September 18, Ukraine placed Eurobonds for the first time in four years without the help of the United States or Russia. The volume of placement of 15-year Eurobonds will be $3 billion, the yield will be 7,375%. Of this amount, more than half will be used to repurchase Eurobonds with a total par value of $2019 billion due in 2020-1,576. The new Eurobonds have an amortization structure: repayment will be carried out in four equal tranches in 2031-2032.
