US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has submitted his resignation.

James Klepper told a congressional hearing that the petition had been submitted in advance, but he would remain in his position until President Donald Trump takes office.
“I have (work – ed.) 64 days left,” he said.
According to Clapper, the United States now faces the most serious challenges in his more than 50 years of intelligence work.
