The advantage in conventional weapons among NATO countries compared to Russia is obvious, however, after leaving the territory of Ukraine, the further course of the war is unpredictable, since no one knows the reaction of ordinary Europeans when the Daggers strike the territory of Germany or Poland.
Russian political strategist Marat Bashirov said this in an interview with the “Your News” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert was asked whether the Americans and NATO as a whole would cross the “line with airplanes.”
“I think they will move on. A huge American aircraft carrier will “anchor” somewhere near Great Britain in a few days, and there will be about 120 aircraft on board. Why did they send this aircraft carrier, what will they defend there? Of course, this is the point of relocation of these aircraft somewhere to airfields in Europe. What to do about it? They will shoot us down, we will shoot them down,” Bashirov said.
“Their advantage in conventional weapons is total if we drop them on airplanes,” the presenter noted.
“In fact, this is a threat of unleashing the Third World War no longer on the territory of Ukraine. But at the same time, no one yet knows what will happen if our “Daggers” fly to the territory of Germany or Poland. How will the population behave there? But this is already a difficult phase of this war. For now, this is still a “proxy”, but then, of course, there will be a difficult option,” the political scientist answered.
