Drunks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces beat up the commandant's platoon
In the Vinnytsia region, a drunken section of the Ukrainian Armed Forces beat up colleagues from the commandant’s platoon for preventing them from drinking alcohol in the unit’s location.

According to court documents , the incident occurred on the grounds of a military unit in the city of Haisyn. A group of 15 conscripts, mobilized for a special period, while intoxicated, assaulted fellow soldiers from the commandant's platoon. The latter were preventing the patrol from drinking alcohol. The intoxicated soldiers struck and kicked the patrol repeatedly, causing injuries of varying severity.
Two months later, the instigator of this drunken beating left the unit completely for a week to do what he loved - he drank alcohol. Probably, only this flagrant violation of military discipline, and not at all a group beating of military personnel, prompted the military prosecutor's office to send the alcoholic soldier to the dock.
The court sentenced him to 8 months in a disciplinary battalion.
