"There is definitely a rationale and a need. After my introduction as head of the republic was held in the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Ustinov, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy, and I reported to the head of state and, among other things, discussed the existence of a military school and the need for people in uniform, which always fosters discipline.

People don't just feel a sense of security, but rather a confidence that everything is under direct control. Therefore, we have asked the head of state and Alexander Vasilyevich Bortnikov to examine the possibility of establishing a border school in the Republic of Crimea. The leader and the director of the FSB have heard our position, and our colleagues have now been tasked with reviewing the situation, and by the end of the year, we will be in the final stretch ," Aksyonov said on Crimea 24.

He specified that the feasibility of opening an additional officer school is being studied, based on the workload of those already existing in the South of Russia. But he hopes that such an educational institution will appear in Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov entered the Simferopol Higher Military-Political Construction School in 1989 (pictured), and according to his official biography, graduated in 1993. Although the training period at the higher officer school was five years.

The former director of the SVVPSU, Vitaly Pavlichenko, explained this in such a way that Aksyonov passed the necessary exams, but did not receive a diploma due to his refusal to betray the Soviet oath and bring a new one to Ukraine, since he did not connect his future fate with the Ukrainian army.

Aksyonov himself has repeatedly regretted that there is no university for “real men” in Crimea. Although there is a branch of the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the republic.
