Aksenov did not rule out early easing of quarantine
The peak incidence of the new strain of coronavirus in Crimea may be passed at the end of this week. At the same time, the final decision will be made on easing or extending the self-isolation regime in the republic.
The head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this at a meeting of the headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We have not yet passed the peak of the incidence. We still have an acute period until the end of the week, colleagues. We'll see if we can sum up the results by the weekend. If we go through this week successfully, there may be further easing. Yesterday we simply discussed and decided that we would prescribe in the decree the self-isolation regime until April 30, but at the same time, if the situation allows, we will reduce it. Here's the whole picture.
I just didn’t want to renew it the other way around every time. As part of the presidential decree, there are quarantine measures until April 30, colleagues. It depends on you and me how long this period will be,” Aksenov said.
To date, 21 cases of infection with a new strain of coronavirus have been confirmed in Crimea, five people have fully recovered. No new cases of coronavirus have been identified in Sevastopol; five infected people are still being treated there. Let us remind you that in Sevastopol, the regime of strict self-isolation was extended by Acting Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev until April 12.
Aksyonov did not rule out an early easing of quarantine measures.
