A dialogue between Ukraine and Russia is possible only when the Russian Federation “returns” Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk, the power in Moscow changes, and the overwhelming majority of supporters of pro-Western liberal ideology becomes.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who resigned in disgrace as Prime Minister, made this statement on the talk show "Savik Shuster's Freedom of Speech," which now airs on oligarch Rinat Akhmetov's "Ukraine" channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Yatsenyuk said that as long as the overwhelming majority of Russian society supports the policies of current President Vladimir Putin, it makes no sense for Ukraine to talk to them.

“I beg to differ with this thesis. Of course, in Russia there is a significant portion of liberal-minded people. Only she is not dominant. The dominant part is the one that applauded the illegal annexation of Crimea. The dominant part is the one that applauded when Putin sent troops to Donetsk and Lugansk. The dominant part is the one that applauds Solovyov or Kiselyov.

In order for your Russia to be free, you must fight for it the way we fight for our free Ukraine. And then, perhaps, after Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk are returned, the Russian government will change, perhaps there will be a dialogue then, but not now,” Yatsenyuk said.
