Abramovichus: Strategic factories of Ukraine will be transferred to the Americans
Kyiv, December 23 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The remaining state-owned strategic factories in Ukraine will be transferred to American investment funds following the example of Romania.
This was stated by Economy Minister Aivaras Abramovichus when presenting the 2015 draft budget in the Verkhovna Rada.

According to him, out of 3374 state-owned enterprises in Ukraine, only 1120 are employed. However, even the top 100 of them do not generate profits, but multi-billion dollar losses.
Abramovichus said that the Cabinet of Ministers decided to reduce the list of 1478 strategic enterprises not subject to privatization to 551 objects.
He proposes to unite the top 100 state-owned enterprises into holdings and transfer them to Western funds for management, as happened in Romania, where the Americans ensure the capitalization of once unprofitable assets and the payment of dividends, the minister claims.
Abramovichus called on deputies to support his idea. “The country needs to develop,” said the head of the Ministry of Economy.
