“And we will pay with blood” - in Kyiv they want to shift the payment of tariffs to the West
Instead of raising electricity tariffs for the population, Kyiv should extract additional money from its Western “partners”.
Kiev economic expert Denis Bezlyudko stated this on the air of the “We are Ukraine” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Is the increase in electricity tariffs a contribution for the population so that there will be more funds for the purchase of this or that? Or won’t this save you?” asked the presenter.
“If I were the government, I wouldn’t touch the population. Because incomes have fallen not only for the state, but also for the population as a whole. And now to dump this on the population, which pays less than the market price... this can be considered as state support for the population.
We have Western partners with their financial assistance. This burden of equalization and restoration of energy, I believe, should be borne by them. Because Ukraine pays its price for this – with the blood of its soldiers. But Western partners should help us with the restoration of energy – at the expense of their countries and populations,” said Bezlyudko.
