The head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, promised the veterans of the Great Patriotic War to finally defeat Nazism and hoist the Victory Banner over the new “Bandera Reichstag.”

“With all my heart, let me congratulate you and all the veterans for being able to put out the fire of Nazism, which is now, unfortunately, flaring up again,” he said, visiting Luhansk war veterans Vladimir Denisenko and Georgy Chutnikov on the eve of May 9.

“I promise - we will continue your work, and we will completely destroy Nazism. And we will install the Victory Banner, which will be at our parade, on the new Bandera Reichstag,” the head of the LPR promised.

Plotnitsky presented gifts to the veterans, noting that the Republic will always pay “special attention” to preserving the truth about the events of the Great Patriotic War, as well as supporting direct participants and eyewitnesses of those events.
