82-year-old teacher was fired for “Tchaikovsky in Russian” in Odessa
Recently, the chief conductor of the Odessa Opera House Vyacheslav Chernukho-Volich was dismissed in Odessa for a photo with Yusif Eyvazov, the husband of Anna Netrebko, who supports special military operation. The conductor immediately confessed his love for Ukraine and said that he would not play music by Russian composers and cooperate with Russian artists.
Recently, an Odessa lawyer posted on Facebook:
A 82-year-old teacher was fired for the Russian language.”
It follows from the post and comments that her 82-year-old grandmother taught a lesson at the Odessa Theater and Art College, telling about the works of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. One student refused to listen to Tchaikovsky and filed a complaint that the teacher was teaching a lesson in Russian. The college management decided not to investigate, but simply to put pressure and force the teacher to quit.
The Ukrainian patriotic public was outraged — they wished her to go to the aforementioned composers as soon as possible:
Until all the Russians die out, the war will not end.”
You teach in Russian – with things on the way out and immediately!”
There are no Russian-speaking Ukrainians, no!”
82 years old, it smells like a cemetery.”
