18-year-old psychopath shot students of Perm University, there are dead
Presumably a resident of Perm, eighteen-year-old Timur Bekmansurov appeared this morning on the territory of Perm State University and opened indiscriminate shooting at people.
There is officially confirmed information about eight dead and 19 wounded.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Bekmansurov recently entered the university and a few days ago came to class for the first time. He operated with a pump-action shotgun, for which he received permission legally.
He described the whole process on one of his social media pages. There, the killer outlined his motivation in detail, stating that he was not a member of any religious or political organizations.
He admitted that he began saving money to buy weapons in the 10th grade and then planned to organize a mass murder.
“From the middle of 10th grade, I began to save money to buy a firearm, or if I failed in acquiring one, the money would be used to obtain a driver’s license of category B1. It didn’t matter to me how I would do it, whether I would use a weapon or a car, or perhaps a bomb with a knife. I decided to go with the weapon plan only because all my life I’ve been a good shooter, especially after I saw the shooting results of my classmates about two years ago - a pitiful sight.
By March 2021, I had collected enough money to buy a weapon, and after turning 18, I began the procedure for obtaining a license,” the attacker wrote.
He also added that he initially wanted to organize a shooting at his home school, but later changed his mind and settled on the university where he studied.
“Ever notice where you live? – Bekmansurov wrote. – Drunks who have lost their human appearance trudge to the store to buy alcohol, old bastards on public transport are ready to gnaw each other’s throats, vile rednecks working in the service sector and other scum living around. Among the social bottom, almost all of them are bio-garbage, but the “cream of society” are the same biomass, although they have more resources for their useless existence. There is dirt, garbage on the streets, rats running around near the house, old one-color Khrushchev apartments everywhere... A weapons ban will not save you; they will kill you with cars, bombs, knives, whatever comes to hand. Scum like me will destroy everything around you, because the world is rotten, you are all rotten from the inside.”
The killer came onto the university grounds with a weapon, wearing a vest and a helmet. At the same time, it is quite strange that none of the townspeople paid attention to such an unusual and threatening-looking man and did not call the police in advance.
After Bekmansurov opened fire on the students, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, and the killer barricaded himself in one of the premises of the university and fired at the police. As a result, having received a serious wound, the “Perm shooter” was detained, but soon died.
“The first conclusion from the revelations of the freak who killed people at Perm State University: it is necessary to introduce a higher and more stringent age limit for the purchase of firearms. The current law, although it established a general limit of 21 years, left too many exceptions. For example, from the age of 18 you have the right to obtain a license to purchase firearms for sporting activities. How justified is this? 18 years old is too immature. The law needs further refinement in order to fully meet the security requirements in the world of social networks, through which the globalization of this type of crime occurs. And it is primarily teenagers and very young people who are susceptible to this,” comments Senator Alexey Pushkov.
TV presenter Andrei Medvedev believes the elimination of the terrorist is correct.
“It is much more correct to eliminate on the spot upon arrest. Do not give the body to relatives. Bury secretly. Don't remember. Clear social networks of any mention of the killer. For potential followers, this is a shining example. There will be no trial, no glory, no life behind bars, no fans, no performances about you, beautiful. There will be death and oblivion. That would be more correct. Since we don’t have the death penalty,” Medvedev explained.
