The allegedly Azarov valuables found in a Kyiv apartment were “stuck” in the National Police - the GPU never received them
The national police, as of January 3, 2017, did not transfer to the Prosecutor General’s Office the items seized from one of the apartments in Kyiv that allegedly belonged to ex-Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

This was reported by the Headquarters of the National Police in Kyiv.
“On December 2, during an authorized search in one of the apartments of a residential building on the street. Grigorenko, items belonging to the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov were discovered and confiscated. The seized items were not transferred to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine,” the statement says.
In addition, the metropolitan police reported that the museums did not contact them regarding the transfer of works of art seized from the indicated apartment to them.

The head of the National Police, Vadim Troyan, reported that in Kyiv police discovered an apartment in which there were valuable items allegedly belonging to ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. He noted that experts had previously assessed the found property at approximately $5 million.
According to Troyan, the National Police of Ukraine should have transferred all the items found to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
In addition, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arseniy Avakov wrote on his Facebook page that he would contact the investigation in order to “transfer the exhibits to the museum until the end of the investigation.”
Mykola Azarov himself disowned the things found.
