Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin forced the deputies to sit away from each other.
“That’s why Chicken comes to you - he clings to you and clings. Let Zyuganov sit alone. Sit down! Vladimir Volfovich, they wanted to infect Zyuganov. Who would you oppose then?” Volodin led the process.
He explained his activity by the fact that 11 State Duma deputies have contracted the coronavirus while working in the regions over the past two weeks, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Every time you return from the regions, you are tested. It has so far shown that 11 plus deputies have tested positive. What is most alarming is that five deputies fell ill with coronavirus again. Antibodies were not developed, and they became infected,” Volodin said.
In total, 157 State Duma deputies were infected with coronavirus during the pandemic.
“These are our colleagues in the age group that can suffer the most from Covid with concomitant diseases. Despite the warnings, they come again, and it so happens that they become infected again. You're not listening. You think that if you are sick, then the grass will not grow. Therefore, those who are at risk, stay in their offices. We are broadcasting live - you can stay at home,” Volodin said.
He spoke out against the opening of the Duma canteen and warned deputies against traveling abroad for the New Year holidays.
“Traveling abroad is postponed. Our country is beautiful. Why go there,” the speaker concluded.
