The title of “Hero of Ukraine” will be taken away for a pro-Russian position
A draft law on depriving the title of “Hero of Ukraine” for a pro-Russian position has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
Deputy Roman Lozinsky announced this from the parliamentary rostrum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Do you know who doesn’t deserve the title of Hero of Ukraine? Moral collaborators, Moscow henchmen, who to this day collaborate with the Russian Federation, recognize the occupation administration or receive Russian citizenship, in the eighth year of the war publicly support Putin’s bloody regime.
Moral collaborators should not be called “heroes of Ukraine.” Therefore, we, together with almost all factions and groups, registered a bill that would deprive all collaborators who went over to the side of the enemy from the title of Hero of Ukraine and state financial assistance,” Lozinsky announced.
The title of "Hero of Ukraine" will be revoked for pro-Russian positions.
