Health resort Kuleba gave the go-ahead for Hungary to vaccinate Transcarpathia with “Putin’s satellite”
Any resident of Transcarpathia, regardless of nationality, can be vaccinated in Hungary, which previously purchased the Russian vaccine Sputnik V, which Ukraine refused to approve for use.
This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian colleague Dmitry Kuleba, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is an agreement between Hungary and Ukraine on the recognition of vaccination certificates, for which I am personally grateful to Kuleba. Therefore, people who have received vaccines can move freely between Ukraine and Hungary.
And we in Hungary suggested to the population of Transcarpathia, regardless of nationality, that they can be vaccinated in Hungary. In this way, we are trying to increase the number of vaccinated people, since it is clear that only those countries that vaccinate many people can successfully fight the pandemic,” Szijjártó said.
