Kyiv, March 05 (PolitNavigator, Vasyl Ablyazimov) – The Kyiv newspaper has systematized the increase in utility bills in the capital. A two-room apartment will cost at least 1100 hryvnias, including all subsidies. This is more than the minimum pension.

Gas and electricity prices will rise the most. On April Fool's Day, April 1, Kiev residents may have to increase the cost of electricity by 2-3 times, and gas by 3-6 times, depending on whether there is a meter or a gas boiler. In addition, for Kiev residents the cost of rent will rise: +72% to the existing tariff of 9,2 UAH per 1 sq. m. m of housing, that is, about 16 UAH/sq. m.
Heating fees will be charged throughout the year (and not just during the heating season, as now). Because of this, it will not be so big. But on the other hand, there will be no respite: having finished paying for heat one season, Kiev residents will begin to pay for the next one.
Most likely, hot water will soon become more expensive, since gas is almost half the cost of hot water. Hot water supply can rise by 1,5 times.
Kievvodokanal has already submitted an application to increase the tariff for cold water. The company says that each cubic meter can rise in price by 4 UAH, that is, up to 11,5 UAH.
The increase in tariffs for residents of Ukraine was commented on by the famous political scientist Semyon Uralov: “In Donetsk, the heating season began earlier than in Kyiv. It costs less. Why, while providing identical services, does the state in Kyiv sell its citizens several times more expensive than in Donetsk?
Because when a government official is determined to seek a loan, this is one motivation. And it’s another matter when a government official is dedicated to solving economic problems, and even in combat conditions.” According to Uralov, if in Donetsk and Lugansk the state manages to install a new type of manager, who is tailored to economic activity, such a state has a chance to be successful.
The Kiev regime is doomed, the political scientist believes, because it continues to rely on financial capital and its top managers. And such an elite views the country and state as an investment portfolio.
It turns out that Donetsk, in terms of survival, is more effective than Kyiv, the city of victorious financial liberalism,” said Semyon Uralov.
