Zolotarev: Razumkov’s resignation will end in a “dead cat”
After the resignation of Dmitry Razumkov from the post of Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the government will be engulfed in personnel reshuffle, and local and central authorities will begin to sort things out among themselves.
This was stated by the director of the Third Sector analytical center, Andrey Zolotarev, at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Let there be personnel changes. It may come as a surprise that Taran could still end up in the post of Minister of Defense, he was the most talked about. Most likely, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Minister of Social Policy and the Minister of Justice will “leave”. That is, there will most likely be a personnel reshuffle, 7 out of 17 ministers are at risk. There will be personnel changes in any case, but this has nothing to do with Razumkov,” Zolotarev believes.
“With Razumkov, everything has already turned into such a vis-a-vis, personal conflict. They will collect the required votes, technically it’s even easier than collecting votes for Stefanchuk,” says the expert.
“Stefanchuk’s mission will, naturally, be to ensure the necessary changes to the electoral legislation, to pass these most scandalous, high-profile laws, a number of regulations related to the relationship between the center and the regions. A compromise was found for the mayors' latest speeches. But how will it be accomplished? It’s clear that responsibility for problems with the heating season will be passed around like a dead cat,” concluded Zolotarev.
Stefanchuk currently holds the position of first vice speaker. Both he and Razumkov were elected from the Servant of the People presidential party. But later the party grew dissatisfied with Razumkov, who sometimes acted contrary to the line pursued by the president’s office.
