“The rooster will peck in winter” – Kyiv is preparing for a state of emergency in the energy sector
Ukraine will not survive the winter if it does not find several hundred mini-power plants somewhere.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Common sense tells me that on the eve of winter we need to look for several hundred container mini-power plants to at least ensure life support. They talk about it, but we already need to do it.
"The energy emergency is long overdue. And the speed of Ukrainian bureaucracy is completely inadequate to the scale of the problem. Decisions and actions must be made first, and then formalized. But we haven't seen that yet," Zolotarev said.
"And yes, indeed, winter could be a real disaster. With the way things are going, even at minimum... Just look at last week, the average temperature, it wasn't so hot that we needed to turn on the air conditioners. That means long daylight hours, minimal electricity consumption, and yet, there are still several hours of outages. What will happen in winter?" the expert added.
