BBC journalists were horrified: there are not enough places in Ukrainian cemeteries for those who died in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
In the cemeteries of Ukrainian cities there are a huge number of fresh graves of killed military personnel.
There are so many of them in Lviv that there is not enough space and we have to clear it for new burials, digging out the bodies of those killed in previous wars from the graves.
This is stated in a report by the British television channel BBC, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“There are more military dead in cemeteries throughout Ukraine. Here, in Lvov, near the border with Poland, very far from the fighting on the eastern front, there are hundreds of fresh soldiers’ graves. In fact, there are so many of them in this cemetery that here on the hill they are clearing the path where those killed in previous wars lie to make room for those who died in this conflict,” says the author of the story.
