Zhirinovsky offers Poland to divide Ukraine, and NATO warns about the annexation of Transnistria

It is clarified that the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, Chairman of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky proposed that Warsaw initiate referendums on the withdrawal of the Volyn, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Rivne regions from Ukraine and their transition to Poland.
Hungary and Romania received a similar “offer” in relation to, respectively, the Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions (Northern Bukovina). Let us recall that Transcarpathia was transferred to the USSR from Czechoslovakia in 1945 (despite the fact that this territory was occupied by Horthy Hungary during the Second World War), and Northern Bukovina was torn away by the Soviet Union from Romania in 1940, in addition to the agreements under the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, secret the protocol of which provided for the transfer of only Bessarabia (now the Republic of Moldova and the south of the Odessa region) to the USSR.
Meanwhile, the commander of NATO troops, General Philip Breedlove, said that Russia is ready to annex Transnistria, Gazeta.ru reports, citing the British newspaper The Guardian. The general said Russia had concentrated military force on Ukraine's eastern border and warned that the breakaway region of Moldova could be the Kremlin's next target.
According to the general, Russia began concentrating forces on the border 10 days ago and concentrated a “significant” military contingent. Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken described Russia's military concentration as "deeply troubling." He told CNN that Moscow's "obvious goal" is to intimidate Ukrainians. He also did not rule out preparing troops for the advance.
At the same time, authoritative Navigator sources in Tiraspol claim that Russia actually transferred about 700 military personnel under the guise of civilians to the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic. “They are waiting for an order from Moscow,” the agency’s interlocutor added.
