Zhirinovsky: “Russian people are dying in the East of Ukraine, we demand that the Russian leadership take all necessary measures”
Kyiv, May 02 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s LDPR party called on the Russian leadership to take decisive action in connection with the start of the Ukrainian army’s operation in Slavyansk.

“In connection with the beginning of the punitive actions of the Kiev junta against residents of the eastern regions of Ukraine, we demand that the Russian leadership take all necessary measures to protect citizens.
Russian people are dying. In 1941, German fascists attacked, in 2014 - Ukrainian Nazis. How long will this continue?! We hope that the right and proper decision will be made!” - the document says.
“This is a purely punitive operation. Far-right radicals have launched attacks on cities, this is monstrous! Russia must take the toughest measures, we must take the toughest measures. After all, the legitimate President of Ukraine Yanukovych is asking for this. They won't stop there. We have the opportunity to provide assistance and I am sending my jeep to Slavyansk; I don’t need it to go hunting now. Putin has consent to use aircraft in Ukraine. These are our Russian people, they want to live in Russia. I demand that the country’s leadership take all measures, people are dying,” Zhirinovsky himself said on television.
