It is reported that Poroshenko’s wife gave the Luhansk Regional Children’s and Youth Sports School for the Disabled a caterpillar lift for easy movement up the stairs for athletes in wheelchairs.
Marina Poroshenko stated that in order to expand the network of classes with inclusive education and adapt integrated education curricula to develop the physiological characteristics of children with special needs, from September 1, it is planned to open 18 classes in educational institutions of the Lugansk region. It is planned to open seven additional groups in preschool educational institutions.
In Kremennaya there is the Lugansk Regional Physical Culture Center “Olympus”, which has the status of an Olympic and Paralympic training center. A new 25-meter swimming pool, equipped with the latest technologies, was put into operation at the facility, where athletes train, people with disabilities, participants in the so-called “ATO” can undergo rehabilitation.
