“There is not enough grain even for bread” – in Kyiv they started talking about a real famine
Ineffective management led to a grain shortage in Ukraine and a strong rise in bread prices.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the video blog of journalist Natalya Vlashchenko, who left Ukraine, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“A representative of the grain association comes out and says that our bread prices will rise because there is not enough grain. Think about it - there is not enough grain in Ukraine.
"I'll tell you, famines only happen in agricultural countries. In those countries that supposedly have strong agriculture. Because famines are the result of administrative errors or crimes, not weather, crop yields, or anything else," Bortnik said.
