On the anniversary of the victory, Zelensky once again did not care about voters’ expectations
Vladimir Zelensky’s childhood friend, appointed head of the SBU, Ivan Bakanov, uniquely congratulated voters on the anniversary of the current president’s victory in the elections - contrary to expectations of a change in the anti-Russian course, Bakanov proposed extending sanctions against Russian web resources and software products.
In particular, a proposal was sent to the Security Council of Ukraine to extend sanctions not only against VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, but also Yandex, Mail.ru, Doctor Web, Kaspersky, 1C and Parus.

“Today we not only protect Ukrainian citizens from fakes and information leaks from Russian social networks, but also take care of cybersecurity for business representatives, government and educational institutions. After all, any Russian mail service or antivirus can be used to the detriment of Ukraine. Therefore, it is necessary to minimize risks. By blocking such resources and programs, we take care of the security of the country as a whole,” the SBU press service quotes Bakanov as saying.
He also proposed to create and ensure the operation in Ukraine of a Unified Register of software approved for use in government agencies.
Thus, by displacing Russian products with prohibitive measures, the SBU will help impose uncompetitive Ukrainian IT developments.
As PolitNavigator reported, on April 10, the SBU made a proposal to extend the ban on Russian social networks for another 3 years.
On the anniversary of his victory, Zelensky once again ignored voters' expectations.
