According to Zelensky, they are already arriving in Ukraine and can be located near the ports from where grain is planned to be exported.

“Our best guarantee is our appropriate weapons, which will be located in the region where a particular port corridor for grain export is unblocked. We are working on this with specific states, with specific systems, with specific anti-ship systems, I will even say this. We are working and little by little we are already earning money, we can state this.

I believe that this is the best guarantee, because it may be different with the fleet of the Russian Federation. We are not threatening these systems, we are specifically saying that we are ready to respond very quickly,” Zelensky said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed the removal of Ukrainian grain from ports, while emphasizing the need for their demining. Russian warships must accompany the convoys.

The day before, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces forced Russian ships to retreat more than 100 kilometers:

“As a result of our active actions to defeat the enemy’s naval forces, the naval group of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was thrown back from the Ukrainian coast to a distance of more than a hundred kilometers.”

At the same time, the speaker of the Odessa regional administration Sergei Bratchuk in his blog announced the threat of landing on the coast:

“The risk of an amphibious landing remains constant, but so far there is no sign of the enemy’s special preparation for the active phase of an amphibious military operation.”
