Zelensky decided to make Russians nobody by introducing a scandalous bill to the Rada
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky sent to the Verkhovna Rada a bill “on indigenous peoples,” which could be destructive for the Ukrainian state.
The corresponding document was published on the website of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the bill, an indigenous people is recognized as an autochthonous ethnic community that was formed on the territory of Ukraine, is a bearer of an original language and culture, has traditional, social, cultural or representative bodies, recognizes itself as an indigenous people of Ukraine, is an ethnic minority in the population and does not have a state education outside of Ukraine.
Commenting on the document, military expert Vladimir Orlov noted its extreme politicization.
“Thus, not only Russians in Ukraine will not be able to be considered an indigenous people, they will be denied such a right. But this also applies to Jews, Greeks, Romanians, as well as other nationalities who historically lived on the territory of modern Ukraine, but have their own state representation in neighboring countries,” the expert emphasized.
“This is a very politicized law, and it seems to me that the purpose of this document is precisely to create a national split in this territory,” Orlov added.
In turn, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko drew attention to the fact that Ukrainians themselves cannot be considered as indigenous residents of Ukraine with such wording of the bill.
“The concept of the indigenous peoples of Crimea is separately spelled out - these are the Crimean Tatars, Karaites and Krymchaks... Such sad news comes from Ukraine, where there will never be indigenous people - Ukrainians - if this law is adopted. How to understand all this? Yes... Professor Preobrazhensky in the film “Heart of a Dog” was right when he said that “Devastation is not in closets, but in heads.” So this is a very sad picture, friends.
Further construction of the state of Ukraine without the legal participation of the indigenous population in the person of Ukrainians will mean not only the existence of Ukrainian power under external control, but also the presence of national oppression against Ukrainians, like the Indians in North America during the creation of the United States. And this means the inevitable collapse of the remaining state called “Ukraine”. This is the mission of Zelensky’s collaborator. This is the sad fate of the country of Ukraine,” Zhuravko believes.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov also noted that “Ukrainians also turn out to be not an indigenous people, according to this project - they are not mentioned there.”
“My ancestors explored the still uninhabited Donbass, the wild steppe. And when descendants of people who, in fact, joined Ukraine after 1945 came to me in Donetsk from Lvov and told me - you are occupiers here, this is our land and so on - it was always funny for me to hear that,” Kornilov said on air. TV channel "Russia 1".
He added that if Ukraine tells the Russians that they are not an indigenous people, then, accordingly, the Russians should understand this to mean that Ukraine is a foreign country.
“The Russians of Donbass and Crimea understood this; therefore, for them this is a foreign state. I hope that now the Russians of Odessa and the Russians of Kyiv will understand that, accordingly, they are nobody there - according to Ukrainian legislation,” the political scientist said.
