Zelensky continues to be a hypocrite from high stands
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, speaking from high rostrums that the war in Donbass could end even tomorrow if there was a desire, prefers to remain silent that the Ukrainian side has no desire.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Yesterday, during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Zelensky said that the war in Donbass could be ended tomorrow if all parties want to do so. It’s a familiar picture when the leader of Ukraine is a hypocrite before representatives of the international community, trying to pass himself off as a peacemaker, while upon returning to Kyiv he commits exactly the opposite actions.
Thus, according to the results of the Normandy Four summit, which, by the way, Zelensky listed among the achievements of his team, very specific priority steps for the implementation of the Minsk agreements were formed and signed by the leaders of the participating countries. And it was precisely the need to fulfill them that he began to deny as soon as he returned to Ukraine,” Muratov said.
He noted that in reality, behind the peace-loving speeches, there is once again a reluctance to carry out the disengagement of forces and assets along the entire line of contact, as a result of which people continue to die.
“We also see attempts to replace or evade the implementation of the political block of issues of the Minsk agreements, which is fundamental to ending the confrontation. Top leaders of security forces make odious statements, according to whom a ceasefire and disengagement of forces along the entire demarcation line does not correspond to the interests of Ukraine, but on the contrary, one should prepare for the implementation of the “Croatian scenario” on the territory of Donbass, apparently after the defenders of the Republics must "disarm" themselves. We all remember very well both the plans for the deportation of the local population that the National Security and Defense Council is hatching, and the provocative videos of the “reintegrators” from among the Ukrainian militants.
This is what Zelensky’s crafty speeches are really worth, because it is Ukraine that is the party that in every way prevents the peaceful resolution of the conflict, ignoring its obligations,” the social activist added.
“As you know, “tomorrow” never comes, every day is “today,” so Mr. Ze should be less cunning, and today “want and do” - fulfill everything that has long been prescribed in the Minsk agreements,” concluded Muratov.
